Grace Park
When Michael saw Grace Park in the role of Sharon "Boomer" Valerii on the newly reimagined Battlestar Galactica, he sensed that fans might take a deeper interest in her. When the mini-series became an established series in 2005, Michael launched the Grace Park fan site. It has since become one of the most popular destinations on Xenite.Org, surpassing all expectations.
Mizuo Peck
The otherwise mediocre "Night at the Museum" is enlightened by Robin Williams' stellar performance as a magical Teddy Roosevelt wax figure. But Williams' character is enraptured by the beautiful wax figure of Sacagawea, played by the talented and beautiful Mizuo Peck. Realizing that she might strike a chord with movie fans, Michael rushed into production mode Christmas Weekend 2006 after seeing the movie and put together an informative fan site with information and links about both Mizuo and Sacagawea. The site became an instant success!
SF-WORLDS
An experimental site, SF-WORLDS served as a proving ground for many of Michael's innovative ideas. Although most of the site's extensive content has been lost due to server crashes, many new scripts and design techniques were tested on SF-WORLDS first. The site once boasted the largest collection of science fiction and fantasy-related news headline feeds on the Internet, as it carried XML-distributed content from many other Web sites.
SF-WORLDS has also hosted many free content scripts and links which have sometimes proven to be popular, sometimes proven to be ineffective or counter-productive.
Celebrity News
Celebrity News is a new concept for Xenite.Org: a search portal for selected celebrities. Rather than try to be all things to all people, Celebrity News picks some of the most popular celebrities today and preconfigures searches across search engines and video archives to filter out some of the seedier items (although many people do look for mature content). The idea behind Celebrity News is to provide a family-friendly search portal for the kinds of news stories and entertaining videos that fans of popular celebrities are looking for.
The Internet Authors Network
When Michael published Visualizing Middle-earth in October 2000, he realized that authors -- particularly self-published authors -- had virtually no free resources for promoting their books on the Internet. There were book listing sites which accepted submissions from authors, but they provided little or no traffic or sales. So, Michael decided to give authors everywhere a little help in promoting their books online. He created The Internet Authors Network. The network, like so many other Xenite.Org sites, has suffered some setbacks from server problems in the past, but it continues to exist and still provides free tutorials. The network also sponsors a moderated discussion group at Yahoo! Groups. Why not provide a forum on Xenite.Org? Because Michael felt that he may one day have to relinquish control over the network to someone else. In fact, the Yahoo! group is now largely overseen by Louise Underdahl, a writer from California. Hopefully, the lost free services -- and perhaps some new ones -- will be restored.
Small Business Internet Marketing
The business community has been exploring the power of the Internet for many years. However, most online business activity is either conducted by Internet entrpreneurs or large companies with budgets for research and development. Many small business owners have created Web sites which really don't produce much activity. Xenite.Org has been helping small businesses find customers for several years, and now Xenite will help small business owners establish their online presence. This simple site introduces the Xenite.Org service to its casual visitors and provides a working example of just how simple an effective business Web site can be. Stolen content has often appeared on other Web sites. "One day I was checking the listings for The History of Xena: Warrior Princess on several search engines," Michael tells us. "I came across some listings which looked familiar. I clicked on the links and found myself reading my own introduction to the History of Xena (a site which had won awards from several sites, including Britannica)."
When Michael wrote to the Webmaster, demanding that the stolen content be taken down, the Webmaster refused, insisting he had written the commentaries himself. Digging into the site's source code, Michael found his own copyright statements. He sent copies of the pages and links to their locations to the Web hosting provider. The site was removed within 24 hours.

SE cOnsulting
Michael launched an SEO Consulting Web site in late August 2006.
"Through the SEO Consulting service, we can work directly with business web site operators who are frustrated with the long time frames that traditional Web site marketing imposes on search engine placement," Michael says. "Most SEOs do things the hard way. I think it's time to show the business community they can get a better return on their investment."
In approximately two weeks, the SE cOnsulting Web site was ranking 3rd for one highly competitive SEO expression, 12th for a second, and moving up to the top 20 for several others.

SEO Theory
SEO Theory is a unique SEO blog that truly looks at the science behind search engine optimization.
"Most SEO blogs focus on marketing agendas, link building formulas, and highlighting SEO tools," Michael says. "SEO Theory looks at the nuts and bolts of reverse engineering algorithms and search results."
